Ubisoft has announced a brand new free-to-play FPS title called Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, even when its iconic Rainbow Six: Siege is still up and well in current days.
A brand new title in the series, even the most veteran players of the Tom Clancy franchise will be delighted to see that maverick groups from across different series and installments have come together with the players now taking control of them. Designed with a base mechanic of fast-paced 6v6 arena combat pitting the Defiants (the players) with different traits, abilities, and ultimates, the maps are designed with both indoor and outdoor fields to allow all styles of trading bullets against each other with some of them being iconic locations of the Tom Clancy universe to wake up your nostalgia once again. XDefiant will also be featuring several game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Escort (and perhaps Search and Destroy) to make sure both casual and competitive players get a taste of the high octane, team-based game that gets updated regularly so that means more maps, Defiants, and mechanics.
Tom Clancy’s XDefiant will be made available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Ubisoft Connect with full crossplay expected at launch. Excited? Place a slot for yourself on playxdefiant.com and catch the rest of the action through the trailer below.
