Ubisoft has recently revealed that the popular frightful event in Rainbow Six Siege, Doktor’s Curse, has returned from 13th October to 2nd November 2022, bringing back the renowned Hide and Seek game mode on the eerie Doktor’s Castle map.
During the event period, new monstrous characters like Oryx on the Hunters (Attackers) and Azami, Nomad, Thorn, and Gridlock on the Monsters (Defenders) will be joining the 5v5 Hide and Seek game mode. As an Attacking Hunter, you will only get Breaching Hammers as your weapons, together with one tracking gadget, each attached to a unique operator skin for chasing the Monsters out of the Castle.
In reverse, Monsters must hide to survive from the Hunters by using traps and a unique ability that is introduced for this mode: Nightstride, which allows them to become temporarily invisible and move quicker.
On top of the return of 5v5 Hide and Seek game mode, the Doktor’s Curse Collection is back too, featuring bundles for Smoke, Kapkan, Frost, Lesion, Doc, Bandit, Sledge, Lion, Jackal, Aruni, and Ela, along with new bundles for Oryx, Azami, Nomad, Thorn, and Gridlock.
There will also be extra bundles for Pulse (Chiroptera Bundle), Kaid (Bloodthirst Bundle), and Melusi (Haunting Bundle), as well as three themed ones: Wicked Surgery Bundle, Incorporeal Bundle, and the Flayed Pain Bundle.
What’s more, any players who log in from now until 2nd November will receive a free Doktor’s Curse pack, with three additional packs that can be earned by completing weekly Ubisoft Connect Challenges.
