ASUS unveiled its latest TUF Gaming FX505 and FX705 gaming laptops today, powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 3000-series mobile processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPUs. The new TUF Gaming laptops combine the best of both worlds – AMD’s latest Ryzen 3000-series mobile processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti / GTX 1650, as confirmed in the previous leak by Lazada.
According to ASUS, the combination allows them to create a powerful system that is capable of delivering an incredible performance per dollar to the end-users. These TUF Gaming laptops are built to last, as it’s tested and certified to meet military-grade MIL-STD-810G standards that can withstand daily wear and tear.
As the name suggests, these TUF Gaming laptops come in different sizes. The FX505 has a 15.6″ display and the highest end model also features a 120Hz IPS-level NanoEdge display for an immersive gaming experience at an affordable price. The FX705 features similar specifications to the FX505, but with a larger 17.3″ display (60Hz only).
The basic model is equipped with a 4GB DDR4 memory, but you can upgrade it to 32GB DDR4 2666MHz if there’s a need for more memory. Both models come with a 1TB hard drive up to 7200RPM or a Seagate Firecude SSHD, and an M.2 NVMe SSD up to 512GB.

The pricing has yet to be announced at the moment, but we’re assuming that it will start from RM 3,099 for the basic model as according to the leak on Lazada last week.

UPDATE 23 May 2019: ASUS Malaysia has unveiled the official pricing for the ASUS TUF Gaming FX505D series. We will keep this post updated with FX705D pricing as soon as we got our hands on the details.
