TEAMGROUP has announced the expected availability of what might be the 1st commercially available DDR5 RAM.
After JEDEC has announced the DDR5 memory standards, TEAMGROUP has been working and planning to take a step ahead by becoming the first company to release DDR5 RAM under the ELITE series. The 16GB RAM modules are expected to run at 4800MHz at 1.1V with on-die ECC support which eliminates the need for the IC chip to be installed on the PCB. The company is expecting a release as early as Q3 2021.
With how strong TEAMGROUP’s products have come to be, it is certainly exciting to see the actual performance boost provided to real life applications by transitioning to yet another generation of Double Data Rate technology.
