TEAMGROUP has revealed the new T-FORCE CARDEA A440 PRO M.2 PCIe SSD capable of providing unprecedented access speeds with minimal heat disruption.

While the look of the entire SSD doesn’t differ from the white prints on the heatsink or rather, the graphene version etched with gold color info, the “proness” of the CARDEA A440 PRO delivers through the upgraded aluminum fin type heat sink that takes advantage of natural airflow and ventilation to improve thermal efficiency which subsequently grants up to 48% lower temperatures compared to traditional offerings. The signature graphene pad also allows facilitates the movement of excess heat due to the PCIe 4.0 device’s main constraint being thermal throttling. If the problem is physical, gotta fix things through physical means then. Running the current best mainstream protocol of PCIe Gen 4×4, a single drive can reach up to 7.4/7.0GBps sequential reads and writes which is super useful for large single file transfers like 4K videos and data sets while the lifespan and durability are further supported by Read Recovery Level tech and Predictable Latency Mode optimizations to ensure the peak performance of the drive can be sustained for extended periods.

The T-FORCE CARDEA A440 PRO will start shipping globally starting mid to late November at the following price, separated by the heatsink type and capacity.

  • T-FORCE CARDEA A440 PRO with Aluminum Heatsink
    • 1TB: USD209.99 (~RM870.69)
    • 2TB: USD395.99 (~RM1,641.88)
