ROG Malaysia has teased that they will be launching the Strix OLED XG27UCDMG gaming monitor for the local market sometime during June of this year.
This 27-inch 4K OLED monitor utilizes the 4th Generation ROG QD-OLED technology, offering 166 PPI resolution for crystal clear text and infinite contrast. Aside from the premium 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time, the OLED Care Pro feature now hosts the new Neo Proximity Sensor that helps with burn-in prevention by automatically dimming the screen when no one is in front of it.
Meanwhile, Auto KVM will make switching between systems a breeze, while the OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 tech dynamically changes pixel brightness against refresh rate fluctuations for even less overall flickering. User can also enjoy the 90W PD-enabled USB-C to hook up a system with juice as well as a wide variety of I/O packing DP 1.4 with DSC, HDMI 2.1, and of course DP via USB-C.
The ultra-slim and frameless panel also makes it easy to seamless blend into any sort of setup, while the Aura Sync RGB adds more rainbow ooze to the mix. Streamers can utilize the quarter-inch tripod socket for easy camera hookups, and the compact stand with integrated phone holder could prove handy for, let’s say VTubers or something.
Since the NA pricing for this monitor is US$999, expect to pay up quite a bit for this luxury gaming display when it arrives in Malaysia.
