ASUS ROG Malaysia just dropped its new flagship gaming desktop – the brand-new ROG G1000 that pairs serious performance hardware with a couple of firsts: ROG Thermal Atrium for cooling and AniMe Holo for looks, and together they make for one of the more distinctive pre-builts we’ve seen in a while.

ROG G1000

So what’s the ROG Thermal Atrium? Well, the brand says that it is a dedicated cooling chamber that physically separates the CPU’s 420mm AIO radiator from the rest of the system, giving it direct access to fresh ambient air instead of fighting for airflow with everything else inside the case.

ASUS says this drops CPU intake temperatures by up to 16°C, which is a meaningful jump for anyone pushing the flagship Ryzen 9 9950X3D during long gaming sessions. The GPU and PSU get their own isolated airflow paths too, so heat from one component doesn’t bleed into another, keeping things quieter and more stable overall.

For some extra fun, the AniMe Holo is the world’s first holographic fan system in a pre-built gaming desktop, using full-color holographic projectors across three X-shaped fans, a massive 380mm fan with 720 LEDs on the side panel, plus dual 215mm fans with 404 LEDs each up front.

Sure, it’s a chonky part compared to the conventional build, but they stay running quietly in isolated modules that cut down on vibration and interference. With support for 16.77 million colors through Armoury Crate, you can display custom animations, text, or system stats, turning the whole case into a personalized showpiece rather than just another gaming rig.

On the raw specs side, the G1000 is built around the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, packing 16 cores, 32 threads, and 3D V-Cache for serious gaming and multitasking performance, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. It’s built on a high-end X870 motherboard with onboard wireless and a dedicated dTPM module for hardware-level security, and ships with 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. For anyone thinking long-term, there’s plenty of room to grow too, with 4x DDR5 slots and 4x M.2 slots available for future upgrades.

Price and Availability

The ROG G1000 is officially priced at RM29,999 and comes backed by a 3-year on-site warranty. If you really want the best deal, there’s the bundle that includes the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQWMS gaming monitor for RM32,999.
