It was only last month that ROG’s Middle East-exclusive GPU, the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Dhahab was launched, but perhaps there’s enough demand from the fans that they decided to make a “not-so-exclusive” version in the form of the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 Dhahab Core OC.
Carrying essentially the same gold-accented design, the premium gold-and-emerald motif surrounds the shiny blanket of real gold weighing in at 6.5g, with the underlying GPU being the same as a standard ROG Astral RTX 5080, such as 2,790Mhz OC Mode boost clock cooled by the 4-fan setup.
While official prices have not been announced yet, the RTX 5090 spearheaded a US$7,000 price tag, so do expect this RTX 5080 version to come close to around US$5,500.
Yet the most important thing to take note of is that it is being listed on the US website, so there’s a huge chance this model will be offered in selected countries rather being “just one”. However, this could still be a limited release so be sure to catch up to the release news as early as possible.
