Razer has revealed the industry’s first 8000Hz polling rate gaming mouse, the Razer Viper 8K, literally.
What’s the difference between this and the standard Viper? Well, to boil it down into simple terms, as long as your system is powerful enough to keep up with the update speed of your mouse, the 8000Hz polling rate theoretically is 8 times responsive than your standard 1000Hz gaming mouse. This tech is currently named Razer Hyperpolling and the Viper is the 1st one to be fitted with it considering it is now one of the hottest competitive gaming mouses out there. The 2nd generation Optical Mouse Switch and Focus+ Optical Sensor sits within the heart of the 8K model alongside larger on-board memory for more profiles.
