Synology has revealed new models of rack-fitted storage unit RackStation and its own official mechanical hard drive, HAT5300.
Starting off the list is the RackStation purposely designed for SMEs to deploy on-site for high-performance multi-purpose storage such as backups, SAN storage, video surveillance, and more. These new models are packed with 10GbE networking and NVMe SSD caches, these RackStations can be scaled up to a maximum of 40 drive bays through expansion units and validated drives. Overall, it achieves up to 68% higher random IOPS than the last generation models.
