Usually known for their hefty and chonky peripherals, Razer has announced the new Basilisk Mobile mouse and Joro keyboard, both aimed to deliver full-fledged gaming performance without the bulk, making them ideal for anyone who likes to play on the move.
First, the Basilisk Mobile is practically the slightly smaller version of the standard Basilisk model, yet it is at 76g only. The tri-mode connectivity, including its own Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, is just the bread and butter, with up to 105 hours of battery life supporting multiple days of mobile gaming.
User also get 10 programmable buttons, a high-precision 18K optical sensor, and Razer’s third-gen optical switches rated for 90 million clicks. One new special feature is the new AI Prompt Master, which lets users create smart shortcuts and strategies via Razer Synapse 4. Add to that a dual-mode scroll wheel with both free-spin and tactile settings, and this mouse turns out to be a tiny powerhouse designed for serious gaming on the go.
On the other hand, the Joro is kind of “laptop keyboardy” with its ultra-low profile size and only 16.5mm thin. The 75% layout with full-size arrow keys is a nice implementation, as well as the UV-coated keycaps for extra durability against wear and tear.
It also has Snap Tap for some SOCD action while BT 5.0 with multi-device pairing support helps users swap between systems, and it has that Copilot key if you really want to use it. The battery life is up to 1800 hours, so literally this is a charge once and forget keyboard.
