The launch of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X series processors is welcomed with various support from OEMs and partner brands as Microsoft now officially naming them Copilot+ PCs built with more AI-focused hardware alongside a more expansive ecosystem.

Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series Powered Microsoft Copilot+ PC

Citing official benchmarks, the leading SKU Snapdragon X Elite will be the most competitive offering right now as its NPU achieves a greater Performance-per-Watt ratio that is up to 2.6x against Apple M3 and up to 5.4x versus Intel’s Core Ultra 7 thanks to its integrated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU architecture.

With a wide selection offered by brands like Microsoft themselves alongside Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Acer, and perhaps more down the line, here’s a quick summary of what they will be offering

Acer

Acer Swift 14 AI

The Acer Swift 14 AI (yes, it comes with AI as part of its name) carries up to a 2.5K touchscreen together with a special AI logo on the cover and an Activity Indicator on the touchpad to help users become more informed about its surrounding as well as existing features like PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0 for clear video and audio call experience.

ASUS

ASUS Vivobook S 15 with AI

For ASUS, they are choosing the Vivobook S 15 (as teased several times across its social media platform) with 1.42kg weight and 14.7mm thickness for an easy to carry and user experience. Armed with up to 18 hours of battery life alongside a wide variety of I/O ports like USB4, HDMI 2.1, microSD card, etc, the stunning 15.6-inch 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED screen plus Harmon Kardon Dolby Atmos audio system makes it great for pretty much everything.

Dell

Dell Latitude Laptops with Snapdragon X

As for Dell, they are pushing for a wider segment of the market for both consumer and commercial levels covering the XPS 13, Inspiron 14 Plus, Inspiron 14, Latitude 7455, and Latitude 5455 models aimed for a simplified yet powerful user experience that can be daily-drived with high efficiency and performance. More information about the full lineup can be found here.

HP

HP OmniBook X AI

HP will be doing both the OmniBook and EliteBook series a favor through the introduction of the OmniBook X AI and EliteBook Ultra AI laptops that not only carries the aforementioned great battery life at up to 26 hours, it also comes with Wolf Pro Security Next GEn Antivirus that guards the device at the firmware level covered by an additional 3 year warranty and Mcirosoft Secured-Core PC designation.

Lenovo

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x

Going even further than ASUS, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x comes in at just 1.28kg and 12.9mm thin packed with a 14.5-inch 16:10 3K PureSight OLED touch-enabled screen with 1000 nits peak brightness as well as “duo 100%” color gamut for both sRGB and DCI-P3. The 1080p MIPI IR webcam plus HD microphone captures user’s face and voice with ease while the Lenovo AI Core management layer optimizes power management to the fullest for the best battery life.

Microsoft

Microsoft Surface with Qualcomm Snapdragon X

Ah yes, for the big boy himself, the naming is well, the same. Simply just called the “new Surface Laptops“, customers get to choose between 13.8-inch and 15-inch options in 4 colorways. Powered by either the X Elite or X Plus processor, those with a bit more budget can even go for an HDR-compliant OLED display and ultra-wide FOV camera enhanced with Windows Studio Effects. The new models even come with a new Surface Pro Flex Keyboard that can be used both attached or detached – practically at any angle or position you want it to be.

If you don’t mind balling with your money for once, then perhaps the Surface Pro will fit your requirements better.

Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge Copilot+ PC

Yes, even though Malaysia doesn’t really get Samsung’s laptop products here but that doesn’t mean that they doesn’t exist. In any case, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge will come in sizes of 14-inch and 16-inch with each of them being a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. Combining the powerful Snapdragon X series chipset alongside its in-house developed suite of AI functions like Circle to Search, Live Translate, and Chat Assist, Samsung aims to be one step ahead of the “smart AI PC” game.
