Other World Computing (OWC) has officially released two new USB-C HDMI adapters designed to simplify and enhance multi-monitor setups for both professionals and everyday users.
First we have the USB-C Quad HDMI 4K Adapter capable of handling up to four 4K displays through a single Thunderbolt or USB4 connection via USB-C, and thanks to DisplayLink Pro technology, it comes with onboard processing to reduce the strain on the host system’s CPU, bandwidth, and battery while supporting extended and mirrored display modes.
It also delivers up to 90W pass-through charging, making it a complete single-cable solution for easy setup for presentation and multi-screen systems.
On the other hand, OWC took the orignal Dual HDMI 4K Adapter and updated it to match the new look with the quad model while having the same capability just like the 4-port brother, except, yeah, only 2 ports to utilize in exchange for a cheaper price tag. Oh, it can also be paired with a second adapter to drive up to four displays.
Both adapters come with integrated cables, HDMI pass-through audio support, and a one-year OWC limited warranty.
Price and Availability
The quad model goes for US$149.99 while the dual variant is at US$69.99 respectively, both now available globally.
