For starters, the ORICO X50 M.2 SSD enclosure delivers Thunderbolt 5–level performance with up to 80Gbps bandwidth, achieving read and write speeds of up to 6,000 MB/s and 5,800 MB/s respectively when paired with a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, making it ideal for demanding workloads such as 8K video editing, AI processing, and large-scale data projects.
To address heat from high-speed drives, the enclosure uses an advanced multi-layer passive cooling system instead of traditional fans, combining a HydroSkin cooling film, expanded fin structure, CNC aluminum body, and a CPU-grade thermal pad. As a result, it achieves up to 10 times better heat dissipation than standard passive solutions, keeping temperatures at or below 45°C under heavy loads while remaining completely silent.
