After gaining strong attention during its crowdfunding campaign, ORICO’s CyberData NAS Series has officially made its retail debut. The lineup is now available through the company’s official online store, bringing 4 different NAS models designed to handle everything from personal photo libraries to demanding creative workflows and business data management.
Leading the compact end of the lineup is the CyberData CF6, an all-flash NAS equipped with 6x M.2 NVMe SSD slots that support up to 48TB of storage. It’s aimed at users who prioritize speed in a small footprint, making it well suited for editing projects, fast backups, and frequently accessed files.
Stepping up from there is the CyberData CF56, which combines 5x SATA drive bays with 6x M.2 NVMe slots for a hybrid storage configuration. Supporting up to 168TB, it balances high-capacity archival storage with fast flash storage for active workloads, making it a practical option for content creators and growing home servers.
For more demanding environments, the CyberData CF56 Pro retains the same hybrid storage design but upgrades the hardware with an Intel Core i5-1240P processor, dual 10GbE networking, and dual 40Gbps USB4 ports. The additional performance and high-speed connectivity make it better suited for collaborative creative projects, virtualization, and heavier multitasking.
Sitting at the top of the range is the CyberData CF1000. Featuring t10x SATA drive bays, 2x M.2 NVMe slots, and support for up to 256TB of storage, it is built for users who need maximum capacity for large media collections, business backups, or extensive data archives.
Across the entire lineup, ORICO includes its CyberData OS platform, which provides file backup, synchronization, remote access, media management, and file sharing across devices. The operating system also supports Docker containers, virtual machines, and AI-assisted management tools to help organize and manage growing digital libraries.
