So, NVIDIA and Google Cloud are teaming up to help companies tap into Google’s powerful Gemini AI models and specifically agentic AI applications, but they’re doing it locally, right on the client’s own turf, instead of just in the cloud.

NVIDIA x Google Cloud

This is quite the good news for organizations that have to be super careful with sensitive info like medical records, financial data, or government files. Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell platform featuring HGX and DGX series systems in addition to NVIDIA Confidential Computing integration, enterprises will have far more protection than usual to help them lock down everything securely.

What’s cool is that this setup will run on Google’s Distributed Cloud, meaning companies can meet strict data regulations without sacrificing performance. But of course, enterprises are encouraged to have hybrid environments in order to enjoy the best of both worlds

On the other hand, Google Cloud just rolled out some new tools to help scale and monitor this kind of AI in production. For starters, the GKE Inference Gateway makes it easier and cheaper to deploy and scale AI models while keeping them secure, and they’re also integrating NVIDIA’s Triton Inference Server and NeMo Guardrails for smarter load balancing and centralized oversight.

Looking further ahead, they’re working on better observability tools using NVIDIA Dynamo, which helps scale reasoning-based AI models across different infrastructures to help pave the way for mainstreaming agentic AI use.
