MSI has announced the availability of the RTX 3060 series graphics cards with multiple tiers of models available for selection.

MSI RTX 3060

Building off the success of other high-end models and its slightly better RTX 3060 Ti model, the RTX 3060 spells even more bang-for-buck performance for your average gamers that are still gaming between the range of 1080p and 1440p. Powered by the Ampere architecture, gamers are able to enjoy even more frame rates than before while experiencing all the NVIDIA technologies such as DLSS, Reflex, and Broadcast without spending too much, barring off achieving full ray-tracing environments.

Here are 4 available models announced at the moment.

GAMING TRIO Series

MSI GAMING TRIO RTX 3060

As per usual, the top-tier GAMING TRIO series is always about the triple fan design, now better with updated TRI FROZR 2 and TROX Fan 4.0 design. The Mystic Light system lights up the card’s RGB LEDs and synchronizes with the Sync and Ambient Link function through the Dragon Center utility piece. Aesthetic-wise, there’s a bit of change here and there but it is still maintaining the GAMING TRIO color scheme and philosophy known by gamers.

GAMING series

MSI GAMING RTX 3060

Taking a step down is the standard GAMING series with only 2 fans but still maintaining the design of the GAMING TRIO. With one less fan, it might not achieve great overclocking results but casual gamers that run the base profiles will have more or less the same results as the GAMING TRIO series. Still armed with the Mystic Light RGB, those who just want a taste of everything at the basic level will find this model interesting.

VENTUS Series

MSI VENTUS 3X RTX 3060

Stripping off the gamerish stuff and you’ll get the VENTUS series GPU, available in either dual or triple fan variants. Designed purely for performing at the best, the reinforced brushed-finish backplate and pure metal and black design will fit any builds either for gaming or work or both if you ask me.

The VENTUS series comes to GeForce RTX 3060, now enhanced with MSI’s acclaimed TORX FAN 3.0., and available in triple and dual fan variants. The performance-focused design of VENTUS maintains the essentials to accomplish any task at hand whether it’s for play or for work. A powerful cooling system, reinforcing brushed-finish backplate, and the solid industrial aesthetic make the VENTUS card suitable for any PC build.

AERO ITX Series

MSI AERO ITX RTX 3060

Last on the list is the AERO ITX models fitted with a compact heatsink and flat heat pipes that can go in any ITX builds without any hassle. If you need absolute performance in small form factor machines, this is your go-to choice that is also worth the price.

Pricing and Availability

The MSI GeForce RTX 3060 series graphics card has the following prices and while it is still possible to find them as a standalone stock, you’ll most likely find them in a PC build package due to all the global shortage and scalper shenanigans. Some model’s prices are unannounced as of the time of writing.
