MSI showcased the new GE65 Raider during Computex 2019 and we couldn’t be any happier to learn that MSI is finally retiring the ageing GE63 chassis. Today, MSI Malaysia has announced the preorder for the MSI GE65 is now open until 8th of July 2019.
The new slim chassis is based on the 17.3-inch GE75 which was revealed last year. Other than the screen size, what ultimately sets both of them apart is the extremely huge air intake under the laptop.
MSI GE65 Raider
The new GE65 Raider will come equipped with 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H as standard. Gamers will have 2 graphics options to choose – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or RTX 2060. It will have two sticks of 8GB DDR4-2666 SODIMM RAMs (16GB total) and a whopping 1TB NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD.
Price starts from RM8,099 for the RTX 2060 variant to RM 9,899 for the RTX 2070 variant.
When you preorder the GE65 Raider on MSI Official Store or Lazada, you will receive a MSI Mystic Knight backpack (worth RM399). Gamers who placed their preorder on Shopee will have the option to purchase the MSI Optix G24VC (worth RM1049) gaming monitor at RM699.
