MSI has officially unveiled its latest range of motherboards designed for the Intel B860 and H810 chipsets to offer user-centric features for the mainstream market.

MSI Intel B860 H810 Motherboards

The B860 is the “slightly premium” tier here with PCIe 5.0 slots and associated M.2 compartment as well as RAM OC of up to 9200+MT/s in addition to 24 PCIe lanes compared to the H810. Furthermore, the B860 supports up to 8 Direct Media Interface (DMI) Gen4 lanes, essentially doubling the data transfer capacity of the H810.

One piece of good news is both platforms come with Thunderbolt 4 support therefore even the most budget of boards can be hooked up with some blazing fast optics-based connection.

On the other hand, the B860 models features a redesigned Click BIOS X feature that enhances usability with features such as Performance Preset, enhanced XMP Memory Profiles, and Memory Try It! for memory fine-tuning. One can also utilize AI Boost and OC Engine to get some extra performance out of the NPU module as well as games.

The range of EZ-DIY designs catered towards faster and easier PC building experience is here to stay including EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II, EZ PCIe Release, and EZ Antenna for maximum connectivity of Killer WiFi 7 and 5G LAN. They also come with extended heatsinks, server-grade PCB designs, and up to 12-phase power delivery with Smart Power Stages. Supplemental PCIe Power connectors ensure stable performance under heavy loads, making them ideal for gaming and AI computing.

MSI also listed the official Intel CPU SKUs they are supporting, in case users need the actual names for clarification.
