The iconic Surface Pro 9 debuts with the benefits of a powerful mobile device in a tablet-like form factor where it features a 13-inch PixelSense display with up to 120Hz of refresh rate backed by a built-in kickstand for an easy-to-use experience no matter you’re sitting or standing. Packed with an HD camera, Omnisonic speakers, and directional microphones, you can use it for on-the-go conference calls as well. The new Ink Focus function in Microsoft OneNote and GoodNotes app in Windows 11 is refined to provide pen-like feedback even if it is fully digital thanks to the custom G6 chip powering dedicated tactile signals.
Categorized by processor choices, customers can opt for the usual 12th Gen Intel Core processor with Intel Evo platform for the Thunderbolt 4 connection for ultra-fast wired connectivity or go for Microsoft’s in-house SQ3 chip powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon with 5G connectivity to ensure it is always ready and connected to the Internet at all times. In short, if you need powerful processing capability and multi-monitor connection or data transfer, pick Intel. For long battery life and on-demand Internet, pick the SQ3.
On the other hand, the Surface Laptop 5 is more into your run-of-the-mill standard clamshell look as usual powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor with Intel Evo certification and is available in sizes of 13-inch or 15-inch yet both options are signature 3:2 PixelSense display with Dolby Vision IQ automatic screen adjustment to provide consistent picture quality across different lighting condition.
