HP Malaysia has announced that the new ZBook Firefly G9 mobile workstation-class laptop will be debuting in Malaysia soon.
As the latest installment for the iconic light yet powerful series, the ZBook Firefly G9 continues the tradition via a powerful set of hardware which includes the latest 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processor to provide a powerful yet efficient computing performance. As for the GPU, users can opt for either the NVIDIA T550 or RTX A500 and finish up with a maximum of 64GB of DDR5 RAM. Packing a 16:10 HP DreamColor display, not only is the horsepower strong enough to handle massive files and pro apps but also the visuals are some of the best in the market and they can be in 14-inch or 16-inch which means 2 separate models will be available on sale.
As for the components in charge of video conferencing, the webcam is a good start as it is given the ability to auto-frame and enhance via AI tracking at 5MP resolution to keep you within focus, especially if you’re the one who is presenting, while discrete audio amps block off background noises. Equipped with a Wi-Fi 6E wireless chipset and an optional 5G module, you can either enjoy a super-fast connection within a premise or enjoy an all-day connection whenever you go. And to top it off, up to 13 hours of battery life will relieve you from carrying the power brick and only charge it when you’re back home.
It also comes with the HP ZCentral Connect, of course. For some context, it is a platform that provides remote collaboration to allow better control and monitoring capability, especially in large-scale deployments where IT managers can easily signal any Z workstations for updates within the admin console while having full access to resources, computing power, and infrastructure from anywhere. For security, a multi-layer defense approach is utilized which includes Multi-Factor Authenticate, Sure Sense, Sure Run, and Wolf Security for Business to protect the user from top to bottom.
