GIGABYTE TRX50 motherboards gets new BIOS for Ryzen Threadripper 9000 / Threadripper PRO 9000 WX support

GIGABYTE just rolled out BIOS updates for its TRX50 motherboards, making them fully compatible with AMD’s newly launched Ryzen Threadripper 9000 series and the Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-series chips.

If you’re using either the TRX50 AERO D or the TRX50 AI TOP, you can now tap into the performance benefits of AMD’s latest 4nm processors thanks to firmware updates based on Combo-AGESA 1.0.0.0 or newer.

GIGABYTE says it’s working closely with AMD to ensure users get timely support for next-gen hardware, and they’ve made the upgrade process simple with tools like @BIOS, Q-Flash, and Q-Flash Plus.
