Right after MSI‘s turn, GIGABYTE’s own Intel 700 and 600 series motherboards are ready for the 24GB and 48GB DDR5 modules.
Similarly, the 24GB and 48GB RAM sticks are ready to use without any BIOS update so any boards with 2 DIMM slots can now rock up to 96GB while 4 DIMM boards reach nearly 200GB capacity at 192GB. GIGABYTE also revealed that for those who are looking for the high-frequency game, the 2x24GB configuration can take on XMP 7000. Not only the Intel XMP supported but also AMD EXPO platforms as well.
