GIGABYTE has chosen its AORUS product line to incorporate the latest ‘Meteor Lake” Intel Core Ultra mobile processors with the AORUS 17 and AORUS 15 gaming laptops taking charge for the first round.

The computing power for this duo will be driven by the Intel Core Ultra 7, likely the 155H variant, in tandem with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series Laptop GPUs. This powerful combination is complemented by DDR5 RAM and PCIe SSD just like any gaming laptop out there.

Managing the Intel AI Boost Engine is the newly introduced NPU, allowing the system to dynamically adjust settings for optimal efficiency. This results in improved battery life so longer battery life during gaming sessions without a charger I guess.

Gamers have various screen options to choose from with the best choice being a QHD panel with 240Hz refresh rate for the competitive players or “pay to win” gang. Coupled with TÜV Rheinland’s low blue light and flicker-free features for eye comfort, as well as the Dolby Vision/Atmos combo, the laptops provide an immersive experience not only for games but also for movies and dramas.

GIGABYTE has also introduced the AI Nexus app, utilizing Microsoft Azure AI, to fine-tune fan settings and monitor CPU and GPU performance. While the inclusion of “3 different brands of dynamic tuning solutions” may raise questions, the collaboration seems effective.

As for the launch details, GIGABYTE plans to release the new AORUS 17 and AORUS 15 next year, with specific pricing and availability information yet to be disclosed.
