GIGABYTE has launched its latest GAMING Series PSUs, featuring exclusive T-Guard active thermal monitoring technology for 12V-2×6 connectors, alongside Cybenetics ETA Platinum and LAMBDA A+ certifications for improved safety, efficiency, and low-noise operation.
Featuring exclusive T-Guard technology, the new GIGABYTE GAMING Series PSUs use precision thermistors within the 12V-2×6 connector for active thermal monitoring.
The built-in sensors track connector temperatures in real time and can detect overheating caused by loose connections or abnormal loads. When unsafe temperatures are detected, T-Guard automatically reduces power delivery to the GPU to help prevent connector damage while keeping the rest of the system operational.
On top of that, the series focuses on efficiency and low-noise operation, earning Cybenetics ETA Platinum and 80 PLUS Gold certifications for improved power efficiency and reduced heat output. Plus, the PSUs carry a LAMBDA A+ rating, maintaining average noise levels below 20 dB(A).
To further minimize noise, they are equipped with a 135 mm FDB fan and HybridCool technology, allowing the fan to stop automatically under lighter workloads for quieter operation.
GIGABYTE has also introduced a dual-colour 12V-2×6 cable design to help users easily verify whether the connector is securely plugged in, offering a simple visual indicator during installation.
The new GIGABYTE GAMING Series PSUs are fully compliant with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, and are available in 750W, 850W, and 1000W model. Offered in both Black and Ice editions, the series also features 100% Japanese capacitors and comes backed by a 10-year warranty.
