HPE Private Cloud AI: A First-of-its-Kind Solution

A key offering is HPE Private Cloud AI, which provides a fast, energy-efficient, and secure platform for developing and deploying GenAI applications. This solution integrates NVIDIA AI computing, networking, and software with HPE’s AI storage, computing, and cloud services (HPE GreenLake). It features a self-service cloud experience, and full lifecycle management, and comes in various configurations to cater to diverse AI workloads.

Joint Go-to-Market Strategy

Both companies will work together to bring these solutions to market. This will involve joint sales teams, channel partners, training programs, and a global network of system integrators, including Deloitte, HCLTech, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro.

Focus on Unleashing the Potential of Generative AI

“Generative AI has immense business potential,” said Antonio Neri, HPE President and CEO. “However, its fragmented nature creates challenges for adoption. HPE and NVIDIA co-developed a turnkey private cloud solution specifically designed to address these challenges and empower businesses to focus on developing new AI applications that drive productivity and revenue.”

Benefits of NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE

  • Supports inference, fine-tuning, and RAG AI workloads using proprietary data.
  • Provides enterprise-level control for data privacy, security, and compliance.
  • Offers a cloud experience with features like ITOps and AIOps to enhance productivity.
  • Delivers a fast path to adoption and flexibility for future AI opportunities.
  • Includes a curated AI and data software stack within HPE Private Cloud AI.

Foundation of the AI and Data Software Stack

The software stack is built on NVIDIA AI Enterprise, which includes NVIDIA NIM inference microservices for smoother deployment of AI models. Additionally, HPE AI Essentials provides a set of curated AI and data foundation tools with ongoing support and features that ensure compliance, explainability, and reproducibility throughout the AI lifecycle.

HPE Private Cloud AI Infrastructure

For optimal performance, HPE Private Cloud AI utilizes NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking, HPE GreenLake for File Storage, and HPE ProLiant servers with support for NVIDIA’s latest GPUs.

Cloud Experience with HPE GreenLake

HPE GreenLake enables a self-service cloud experience for HPE Private Cloud AI. This provides manageability and observability for automating, orchestrating, and managing workloads and data across hybrid environments.

Enhanced Infrastructure Observability

OpsRamp’s IT operations integration with HPE GreenLake offers observability and AIOps capabilities for the entire NVIDIA accelerated computing stack, including AI software, GPUs, and AI clusters. This empowers IT administrators with insights for managing their AI infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Faster Time to Value with System Integrators

Deloitte, HCLTech, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro will support the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio and HPE Private Cloud AI as part of their strategic AI solutions and services, accelerating the development of industry-focused AI solutions for businesses.

HPE Private Cloud AI and several HPE ProLiant servers with NVIDIA GPUs are expected to be generally available in the fall of 2024. The HPE Cray XD670 server with NVIDIA GPUs will be available earlier in the summer.
