Dell just introduced two new gaming monitors – the Dell 27 Gaming Monitor S2721DGF and also the Dell 27 Curved Gaming Monitor S2721HGF. Both of these monitors will come at a later date, and we’ll keep you updated when we have more information about them.
These are two 27-inch monitors but they are different from each other.
Dell 27 Gaming Monitor S2721DGF
This is a flat gaming monitor with up to 165Hz refresh rate via DisplayPort and comes with 1440p in resolution too. It’s using an IPS panel and Dell also claims 1ms GTG response time in extreme mode.
This monitor also has NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility certification and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology.
For quality of life features, the Dell 27 Gaming Monitor S2721DGF also has a total of 4x USB 3.0 ports on the monitor itself, a headphone jack, and another audio line out. These ports are very useful since personally, I like to connect my speaker to the monitor so I can manage all the cables in one go.
There are also two HDMI ports accompanying the single DisplayPort, and that’s handy for us who also owns a console and wants to play with them on the same display.
There is no pricing for the Dell 27 Gaming QHD Monitor S2721DGF yet, but it will be available starting 28th July 2020 in Malaysia.
Dell 27 Curved Gaming Monitor S2721HGF
In contrast to the aforementioned monitor, this Dell 27 Curved Gaming Monitor S2721HGF is curved – as stated in the name. It’s using a VA panel instead of IPS, and it goes up to 144Hz on 1080p. Its response time is 4ms GTG in extreme mode.
This monitor also has NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility certification and AMD FreeSync Premium technology support.
As for ports, there are two HDMI 1.4 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.2, and another headphone jack.
Some people might prefer a curved screen for bigger screens – so this is surely perfect for that use case.
There is still no price for the Dell 27 Curved Gaming FHD Monitor S2721HGF yet, but it will be available starting 21st August 2020 in Malaysia.
