BIWIN has announced its participation in COMPUTEX 2025 to showcase its latest advancements in consumer storage, emphasizing speed, reliability, and high performance under the theme of ‘Built to Win’.
First up is the Black Opal X570 PRO and X570 SSDs rocking the sweet PCIe 5.0 protocol for breakthrough speeds for up to 14GBps read and 13GBps write speed, thanks to the 4GB DRAM cache, 6nm controller and 8-channel architecture for optimized data throughput and power efficiency. The X570, although without DRAM cache, can still achieve up to 14.5GBps read speeds via Host Memory Buffer (HMB) and dynamic SLC caching.
On the other hand, the Black Opal DRAM series will see the OC Lab Gold Edition DW100 RGB DDR5 192 GB memory kit up for showcase, made available in DDR5-6400 CL30 and DDR5-6000 CL28 configurations for the highest processing demand while verified for the latest AMD platform.
For storage, the Amber PR2000 Portable SSD is designed with simplicity in mind, packing up to 2000 MB/s read and 1800 MB/s write speeds via USB 3.2 Gen2×2. It features IP67 water and dust resistance, a silicone casing rated for 3-meter drops, and with capacities up to 8 TB, this will be a nice rugged, versatile option for content creators and field professionals across multiple platforms.
Also on display are the brand’s CFexpress 4.0 memory cards: the Amber CB500 (Type B) and CA400 (Type A). Engineered for professional video production, the CB500 reaches 3750 MB/s read and 3500 MB/s write speeds, while the CA400 delivers up to 1850 MB/s read and 1750 MB/s write speeds. Both models support sustained 8K/12K video capture and feature VPG400 certification, robust thermal control, and protection against shock, X-rays, dust, and temperature extremes.
