be quiet! has just announced the official launch of its Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6 high-end air coolers, introducing a refreshed design alongside enhanced performance powered by optimized heatsink structures and upgraded heat pipe technology.
Dark Rock Pro 6
The new Dark Rock Pro 6 features an improved heatsink, seven high-performance heat pipes, and two Silent Wings PWM fans (135mm and 120mm) for efficient airflow. A hardware switch also enables users to choose between performance mode and a semi-passive quiet mode.
For better compatibility, it includes a height-adjustable front fan and heatsink cut-outs to accommodate taller RAM and VRM coolers. Plus, installation is more straightforward now thanks to a simplified mounting system.
Design-wise, the cooler packs a brushed aluminum top cover and black coating, along with a nickel-plated base that supports liquid metal thermal compounds.

Meanwhile, the Dark Rock 6 delivers strong cooling in a more compact form, with low noise levels and broad compatibility. It features a redesigned heatsink, six high-performance heat pipes, a 135mm Silent Wings fan, and a hardware switch similar to the Pro model.
Its asymmetrical layout and heatsink cut-outs improve RAM and VRM clearance, while a fan rail system and simplified design make installation more flexible.
The cooler also includes a black coating, a magnetic top cover with a brushed aluminum finish, and a nickel-plated base compatible with liquid metal thermal compounds.
Pricing and Availability
Backed by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty, the new be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6 are set to launch on May 19 at prices of US$129.90 and US$109.90, respectively.
