ASUS Malaysia has announced the official release of the Z590 motherboards previously revealed during CES 2021.

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XIII Z590

According to the announcement, the entire spectrum gets a piece of the Z590 goodness – from top-end ROG MAXIMUS / Gaming STRIX, durable-focused TUF Gaming to budget PRIME series. In case you don’t know, Intels’ 11th gen offering essentially reduces core and thread count in an attempt to break through the boost clock ceiling again. And yes, they did. What did it cost? A huge amount of heat produced from amping the power supplied to the chip (Click here for our i9-11900K review). ASUS’s offering is confident in providing high-quality VRMs to sustain the high-level TDP alongside the latest connectivity features such as USB-C 3.2 Gen2x2, 10Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E. A host of AI-powered functions such as overclocking, cooling, networking, and noise reduction is set to debut as well.

The price list for a total of 6 models across 4 different categories is here.

  • ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO: RM2,659
  • ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI: RM2,275
  • ROG STRIX Z590-F GAMING WIFI: RM2,125
  • ROG STRIX Z590-A GAMING WIFI: RM1,699
  • TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS WIFI: RM1,309
  • PRIME Z590-A: RM1,179

All 6 announced Z590 motherboards are available for purchase right now with 3+1 years of warranty coverage. Pretty sure they’ll be popping up soon on places like Shopee and Lazada alongside local dealers. Meanwhile, ASUS will be releasing other boards for the Intel 500 series chipset as well such as H570, B560, and H510. 400 series boards will also be getting a firmware upgrade real soon to support the 11th gen Intel CPUs as well.
