ASUS ROG STRIX Z490 Specs

According to the leaked specs table, the ROG Strix Z490-E seems to be the highest-end board in the ROG Strix Z490 lineup, featuring a 14+2 phase power design. The Z490-F, Z490-A, Z490-H, Z490-G(Wi-Fi), Z490-G will feature a 12+2 phase power design, while the Z490-I features an 8+2 phase power design. If you’re looking forward to the DDR4 memory performance on the ROG Strix Z490 boards, the Z490-I will support up to DDR4-4800 as according to the specs, while the rest will support up to DDR4-4600.

For the networking features, all the ROG Strix Z490 motherboards will feature the Intel i225-V 2.5GbE LAN, but Wi-Fi 6 will be available on the Z490-E, Z490-G(Wi-Fi) and Z490-I. The Z490-F, Z490-A and Z490-H will feature M.2 E-key slot which allows you to install Wi-Fi 6 module if needed. Thunderbolt 3 support is only available on the Z490-E, Z490-F, Z490-A and Z490-H, which is rather disappointing.

As for the expansion slots, PCIe 3.0 is all we can see from the specs table and it seems that none of the ROG Strix Z490 boards will support PCIe 4.0.
