ASUS has announced a plethora of gaming products at Gamescom 2022, which includes motherboards, PSU, monitors, networking devices, as well as peripherals. Let’s briefly browse through them and see what they offer.

Motherboards

First up are four new X670E series motherboards that are based on the AMD X670 chipsets: the ROG Crosshair X670E Gene, ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming WiFi, ProArt X670E- Creator WiFi, and Prime motherboard range.

Notably, the ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming WiFi is equipped with a ROG FPS-II card for accessing front-panel headers, SATA ports, CMOS, and CPU overvoltage headers much easier. An ALC4050 codec and an ESS Sabre 9260Q DAC are also included in the motherboard for enhanced audio.

Power Supply

The ROG Loki SFX-L 850W Platinum is the only PSU that was announced this time. Designed for ITX builds, it is PCIe 5.0-ready with a 16-pin cable included for delivering up to 600W of power to the modern high-end GPUs. Within the PSU, there are also two ROG heatsinks and a 120mm fan with PWM control that reduces noise levels and keep the temperatures cool.

Monitors

Let’s start with the ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ/PG48UQ first which is shown on the left. They feature an anti-glare micro-texture coating OLED panels with 4K resolution, overclocked 138Hz refresh rate, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, and also an ultrafast response time at 0.1ms GtG. Both monitors include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0, a USB hub, as well as a tripod socket at the top.

In the middle is the ROG Swift PG27UQR which boasts a 4K resolution with 1ms GtG response time and 160Hz refresh rate. With NVIDIA G-SYNC support, DisplayHDR 600, and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, it is also equipped with two DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1, a USB hub, and an earphone jack.

The last ones are the ROG Strix XG32UQ 4K and XG32AQ QHD monitors, featuring IPS panels with 1ms GtG response time and run at 160Hz with 96% DCI-P3 and 175Hz with 95% DCI-P3 respectively.

Network Solutions

Moving on to the networking devices, the ROG Rapture GT6 is a tri-band mesh system that can deliver up to 10 streams and WiFi speeds of up to 10,000Mbps. With nine powerful internal antennas and ASUS RangeBoost Plus technology, the overall WiFi signal range coverage of the device is up to a whopping 5,800 square feet.

On the other hand, the ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 is the first quad-band WiFi 6E gaming router, boasting next-gen Broadcom WiFi chipsets and a 2.0Ghz quad-core 64-bit CPU. On top of that, it features ASUS RF technology and ASUS RangeBoost Plus for better signal range and coverage, along with dual 10Gbps LAN ports, four 1 Gbps LAN ports, and a 2.5Gbps WAN port that supports link aggregation and load balancing.

Here we are at the peripheral sections, on the left is the ROG Keris Wireless AimPoint which weighs only 75g and comes with a 36,000 dpi optical sensor. The mouse can register speed at 650ips and 50g acceleration while supporting a 1000Hz polling rate. In addition, a single charge will enable up to 119 hours of usage time.

As for the ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint, it is 79g in weight while boasting a 36,000 dpi optical sensor with 650ips and 60g acceleration, as well as a polling rate 1000Hz. Similar to the Keris, it can also be used over USB, 2.4GHz RF, or Bluetooth mode for up to 119 hours.

Last but not least, the ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro features dual-mode Bluetooth and wired USB-C connectivity, paired with an ESS Quad DAC and AI Noise-Cancelling Microphones for enhanced audio while being wire-free. It also has built-in active noise cancellation, 24-bit, 96KHz wireless audio with only around 45ms audio. With up to 28 hours of battery life with its in-case charging, the earbuds are also IPX4 splash resistant.

And if you’re seeking a more affordable option, there’s also the ROG Cetra True Wireless which has a slightly lesser battery life of up to 27 hours but can still provide users with a respectable audio experience.
