Logitech Malaysia is happily announcing the latest gaming gears that took a wild turn from the usual black and stealthy aesthetics into the white, shrouded, and mystical looks – the Logitech G Aurora Collection.
The entire peripheral set consists of a wireless gaming headset, two gaming keyboards (practically the same but just wired and wireless versions), and one gaming mouse. Let’s dive into what makes them special.
First, up is the G735 Wireless Gaming Headset coming in a White Mist finish that packs a flashy RGB side lighting for style point and on-ear dual-audio mixing to give players a great music and gaming experience. Something new also debuted via this G735 which is the Blue VO!CE microphone technology that smartly modulates a player’s voice on top of saving specific audio or lighting-related settings within G Hub or directly on the headset.
Fitted with a set of comfy ear pads, wear one without getting skull fatigues and get up to 56 hours of battery life (Lights Off) all connected via the renowned LIGHTSPEED wireless technology or the good old Bluetooth.
The main focus of the collection can be given to the G713 if I must say. Rocking a white base illuminated by RGB lights that semi-permeates the body kit, the keyboard is equipped with Logitech’s in-house GX switches with your usual choices of clicky, tactile, and linear alongside a set of double-shot PBT keycaps for long-lasting legends and durable quality. For good or for worse, Logitech decided to go for the TKL layout but at least there are 3 function keys and 4 media keys to let you gain quick access to various features. Don’t forget the volume roller because knobs are too mainstream.
Although the G713 is a wired model, the cable is detachable so have fun with your custom coiled cables as well.
On the other hand, the G715 offers wireless capabilities and functions entirely like the G713. Choose this if you need less cable cluttering or are a mobile worker that needs to switch around work venues frequently. For the battery life, it is rated at an average of 25 hours of usage, and it offers connection choices of either LIGHTSPEED or Bluetooth.
Last on the list is the G705 Wireless Gaming Mouse and to be fair, it almost looks like the M331 silent mouse design but I do understand that some people like the compact and contoured fit of the shape. It may look simple but it packs all of Logitech’s gaming technologies like the LIGHTSPEED wireless connectivity for ultra-low latency gaming or your standard Bluetooth connection for casual tasks, gaming-grade sensors, and an on-the-fly DPI switch – all inside a small package at 85g.
