With all sorts of bo0ths and products running around, ASUS IoT has announced they are launching two new edge AI systems at COMPUTEX 2024.

ASUS IoT NVIDIA Jetson Series

One of the new products is the PE2100N series that comes with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin for powerful AI inferencing even in extreme temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C thanks to the SWaP-optimized design while the fans in PE2101N are efficient and quiet, making it suitable for defect inspection and object recognition or even better, the PE2100N goes for fanless build for absolute soundless operation.

It is also designed for great power efficiency by leveraging an NVIDIA Arm-based CPU and an embedded GPU complemented by use of comprehensive I/O options, including CANBus, LAN, and PoE ports which makes it great for traffic management, intelligent security, and roadside unit applications.

Need more storage or greater connectivity options? the PE2100N has multiple M.2 slots and 5G modules as well. On the other hand, the series will support the latest NVIDIA JetPack 6 SDK out of the box and offers easy-to-upgrade AI solutions, a larger range of Linux distros and better platform security in addition to access to the new Jetson Platform Services packing prebuilt and customizable services for AI apps running on Jetson Orin SoMs.

As for the PE1101N series, the compact design is the main focus here at just 130 x 90.2 x 72 mm while providing robust I/O options like ANBus, GPIO, and RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet with optional choices of WiFi and Bluetooth through the M.2 E-key and M-key. The great connectivity support plus low power and small form factor makes it wonderful for space-constrained environments like smart cities, transportation, EV chargers, etc.

Availability

With long-term technical and product support offered as part of the package, the ASUS IoT PE2100N series and PE1101N series will begin sampling from August onwards.
