NVIDIA’s latest RTX-powered tech is given to the Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software, as the latest beta introduced a new Premiere Color mode served as a dedicated grading environment nested within Adobe Premiere, allowing editors to perform color correction without switching to external software.

Adobe Premiere Color Grading NVIDIA RTX

Color grading is computationally demanding, and this new mode leverages GPU acceleration on NVIDIA GeForce RTX and NVIDIA RTX PRO systems. It operates in 32-bit color depth, providing improved fidelity and faster performance.

The interface is designed to guide editors through the grading process, with key features including a large program monitor for immediate visual feedback and a clip grid view to help maintain visual consistency across entire sequences. Controls are organized into focused modules, allowing multiple aspects of color grading to be managed simultaneously while maintaining clarity.

On the other hand, there are advanced controls such as the ability to work with up to six luminance adjustment zones, moving beyond traditional three-zone models for more nuanced tonal control. Visual scopes are context-aware, dynamically adapting to the selected tool, and HUD overlays provide direct visual cues within the scopes.

Additionally, color styles can be applied anywhere – sequence, clip, reel, or custom group levels, you name it. The tool also retains the ability to intentionally clip colors for creative effect.

As for users wanting to try this out, just enable beta download within the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
