Acer Malaysia has officially dropped 2 new Swift series laptops, namely the Swift 16 AI and Swift Lite 14, to help more people enjoy high levels of productivity with its AI suite and well-designed machine.
First off, the Swift 16 AI is the showstopper here, with its full black body for full premium points. Under the hood is a powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processor, giving maximum performance with high efficiency. The sleek aluminum body is coupled with up to 20 hours of battery life as well as a nice 16-inch OLED screen.
Aside from the usual Acer PurifiedVoice and PurifiedView, which actively make your voice and face better with AI, there is also the User Sensing 2.0 powered by a proximity sensor that automatically locks/unlocks the device based on your presence. Need more smart features? The Multi Screen Assistance will be super helpful as it dynamically places the mouse cursor onto the screen you’re looking at, thus enabling better productivity in general.
On the other hand, it seems like “ultra light laptops” are going to be a fierce trend soon as Acer enters the battlefield with the new Swift Lite 14 weighing at just 999g and comes in Light Silver and Nude Pink for some style points and portability.
Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 chip, the battery life is lower than the Swift AI 16 above, as expected, at around 10 hours. However, the 14-inch 180-degree hinge allows it to be placed flat on the surface, so for those who want light laptops with break-free hinges that also look modern, the Swift Lite 14 is a nice option.
