Acer Malaysia has concluded its latest launch event for the gaming segment through the release of several new Predator products alongside a portable display belonging to the Nitro family.
Starting with Predator Helios Neo 16, this mid-high range machine can be paired with an Intel Core i7 CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, alongside a 16-inch 16:10 IPS panel with up to WQXGA+ resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and full 100% sRGB coverage. Cooling is handled by the 5th Gen AeroBalde 3D fan system, while networking includes Killer Wi-Fi 6E plus 2.5G Ethernet via DoubleShot Pro for low-latency connections. Audio and comms aren’t ignored either, with DTS:X Ultra, Hi-Res Audio certification, and AI noise reduction baked into Acer PurifiedVoice.
Then the Orion 5000 prebuild gaming desktop gets an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 combo backed by 2GB DDR-6000 RAM (expandable up to 128GB) and a 1TB PCIe SSD with SATA and M.2 expansion. Sitting inside a 45L case made with 65% PCR plastic, the rig is cooled by the Predator CycloneX 360 design of properly-placed fans for optimal airflow and getting thermals in control, and for WiFi, they have upgraded it to WiFi 7.
On the display side, the Predator XB273U X2 is a 27-inch QHD IPS monitor that pushes up to a 210Hz overclocked refresh rate with a 0.5ms response time for both competitive gaming and the sweet spot of 1440p resolution for daily driving and triple AAA games.
