At its latest launch, Acer Malaysia has geared towards the business side of things, as its new lineup shoots for the commercial and business space, spanning across TravelMate laptops, Veriton desktops, and Vero monitors.
What’s interesting is how this lineup isn’t just about raw specs – it’s clearly shaped around what businesses are dealing with right now. You’ve got tighter security layers, built-in management tools like Acer Commercial BIOS and Office Manager v4.0, and features that make IT oversight easier without adding complexity. The BIOS even comes with a graphical interface and self-healing tools, which tells you Acer is trying to reduce friction for IT teams managing large fleets of devices.

On the laptop side, the new TravelMate series – including the P4 Spin, P2 14, and P2 16 – is aimed at professionals who need mobility without giving up performance. They’re powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips, paired with DDR5 memory and fast SSD storage, and they lean heavily into the Copilot+ PC experience. You’re also getting things like Thunderbolt 4, fast charging, and AI-enhanced video call features with a 5MP webcam, noise reduction, and audio tuning, which makes sense given how central remote collaboration has become.
Beyond TPM 2.0 and SSD-level protections, Acer is adding a chassis intrusion detection system – so if someone physically tampers with the device, it triggers an alert that IT has to clear through the BIOS. That’s the kind of feature you usually see in more tightly controlled enterprise environments, so it’s notable they’re bringing it into mainstream business laptops.

Then on the desktop side, the Veriton lineup is covering a wide range of setups – from compact towers to mini PCs and all-in-one systems. These are powered by Intel Core Ultra 2 series processors with integrated NPUs, which means they’re built to handle AI workloads locally. You’re also looking at support for up to 64GB DDR5 RAM, fast PCIe Gen 4 storage, and modern connectivity like Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, so they’re not cutting corners on performance or future readiness.
The small size also makes the 1-litre units VESA-mountable for tight workspaces, while the all-in-one setups reduce cable clutter – clearly aimed at cleaner, more efficient office environments.
To round things out, Acer is pairing these desktops with the CB2 Series Vero monitors, which lean into both productivity and sustainability. Depending on the model, you’re getting options like a 120Hz IPS panel, 4K resolution with HDR10 and wide color gamut, or even a built-in 5MP webcam for hybrid work setups. Features like AdaptiveSync, USB-C with power delivery, and ergonomic stands make them practical for long hours at the desk.
But the bigger angle here is sustainability. These monitors use up to 85% recycled plastic and include ocean-bound materials, while also carrying certifications like ENERGY STAR and EPEAT Gold. That ties back to a broader push from Acer to align with ESG goals, which is becoming a bigger factor in enterprise purchasing decisions.
