Acer has decided to join the battlefield of professional monitors for creative workers through the release of the new ProCreator series displays, and among other display offerings, to disrupt the market a bit.
These displays are Calman-verified for color accuracy and pack features like Delta E<1 precision, wide color gamut coverage, and built-in tools like the Acer Creator Hub that lets you fine-tune color profiles, organize multitasking layouts, and pick the best color space depending on the type of project you’re working on.
Some of the higher-end models even come with OLED and touchscreen panels, plus webcams for video calls and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible tech, which is great for smoother visuals.
Among the lineup, there’s the PE320QXT with a massive 6K resolution, and the PE270XT offering 5K – both covering 99% of AdobeRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts.
Then there’s the PE320QK X, which uses a QD-OLED 4K panel, supports ultra-smooth 240Hz refresh rates, and brings high dynamic range visuals with DisplayHDR True Black 400.
And for creators on the move, Acer’s got the PE160WU, a portable 16-inch OLED display with a crisp WQXGA+ resolution, color accuracy under Delta E<2, and a 120Hz refresh rate – basically a high-end monitor that fits in your backpack.
Outside the ProCreator lineup, Acer also introduced new portable monitors like the PD163QT and PD243Y E. These are foldable, Full HD, and made for multitasking on the go. The PD243Y E even hits a 100Hz refresh rate, while the PD163QT includes touch support.
There’s also the super-thin PM191Q E, which has an adjustable kickstand and supports VESA mounting.
Then there are the new LED projectors, starting with the PD1810, for instance, delivers 4K resolution, 1,000 ANSI lumens, and a rich color gamut. It’s packed with features like a 240Hz refresh rate at 1080p, HDR10 compatibility, and support for seamless device connection via USB-C. It even has dual 5W speakers, HDMI CEC support, and wireless projection via an optional dongle. Basically, you can plug in your phone or laptop with a single cable and project a huge image even in daylight.
If portability is key, the PD1520s is even smaller and lighter – just 1.3 kg – and it has a smart system built-in for accessing streaming apps, screen mirroring, and USB playback. There’s also the PD1520Us, which they’ll be showing off at COMPUTEX 2025. It’s a compact, ultra-short-throw projector that can put up a 100-inch image from just 44 cm away, with 2,000 LED lumens, and just weighing under a kilo.
