Acer has revealed quite the lineup for COMPUTEX 2024 which includes monitors, routers, and a special SpatialLabs camera.
First, let’s hit the standard consumer and budget gaming section with two plain Acer monitors and two Nitro gaming monitors. The former duo covers the “high resolution first and nothing else” sector for easily affordable quality display for work while the Nitro offers great refresh rates at the mainstream 1440p resolution. Aside from functioning as a standard monitor, they also have native Google TV support hosting several streaming platform apps so you can skip powering up a system and just watch something directly from the monitor.
Here’s the specs table for easy viewing.

Speaking of Predator, they also showcased a new gaming router alongside a new mesh router. To start, the Predator Connect W6x boasts 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies while the Wave 7 is capable of WiFi 7 in addition to existing standards. Both of them feature Hybrid QoS and Intel Killer Optimization Engine that make sure important data packets like games will have higher priority and better latencies while the built-in Trend Micro Home Network Security protects the household from potential threats.
Lastly, the 3D stereoscopic tech-focused SpatialLabs family sees the addition of the Eyes Stereo Camera geared towards photographers who want to take some unique and exotic pictures. This pocket-sized camera comes with 8M pixels per eye resolution, a built-in selfie mirror, and a weatherproof exterior. It is smart enough to do auto and touch focus alongside having some of the standard camera settings like ISO calibration, white balance, etc.
To make content creation easier, one can hook this up to a host machine and just stream this 3d stereoscopic experience to fellow viewers of a live stream on things like YouTube and Twitch. Wanna troll your colleagues? You can use it in Zoom, Teams, or Meet, too.
For developers, the SpatialLabsUnreal 5.3, Unity 2021.3 LTS, and 2022.3 LTS plug-ins will be made available starting in June with expanded features and easier project building.
