Acer has unveiled its lineup for the upcoming COMPUTEX 2023 event, which includes laptops and a router.

Acer Swift Edge 16 1

Leading the pack is the Swift Edge 16, featuring a breathtaking 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. It boasts VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, ensuring deep blacks and a high contrast ratio.

Underneath, the machine is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7040HS processor with Ryzen AI, enhancing efficiency and performance across various tasks. It also incorporates the Radeon 780M graphics for light editing capabilities.

To enhance security, the laptop includes the Microsoft Pluton security chip, safeguarding against increasing cyber threats and managing fingerprint verification. It can accommodate up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for ample storage.

Furthermore, support for the new WiFi 7 standard is available, delivering faster and more responsive connections for bandwidth-intensive tasks. Its I/O options include 2x USB-A, 2x USB 4-C, 1x HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader. Despite its powerful features, the laptop remains lightweight at only 1.23kg and impressively thin at 12.95mm.

Key features of the Swift Edge 16 also include a 1440p webcam with Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) and Acer PurifiedVoice featuring AI noise reduction.

Acer Predator Triton 16

Next in line is the Predator Triton 16, a gaming laptop designed for performance. It supports up to the 13th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. With 32GB of DDR5-5200 RAM and up to 32GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD in RAID 0, this machine offers outstanding performance.

To keep temperatures in check, the laptop employs 5th-generation 3D AeroBlade metal fans with VertexFlow technology, optimizing airflow through strategically placed heat pipes and air vents.

The gaming-grade display boasts a 240Hz IPS panel with a resolution of 2560×1600, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and support for NVIDIA Optimus Advanced and G-SYNC.

Connectivity options include 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x Thunderbolt 4, and a microSD card reader. The Intel Killer Doubleshot Pro and WiFi 6E ensure reliable network connectivity without packet loss.

Acer Connect Vero W6m

Lastly, the Connect Vero W6m is a simple yet environmentally friendly router, capable of supporting Wi-Fi 6E Triband AXE7800 with a maximum throughput of 7.8Gbps.

Designed for easy mesh setup, it can be paired with up to four additional units, providing coverage of up to 930m square or 465m square for dual unit setups.

The router complies with EU EN 303 645 (RED) Cyber Security Standards for enhanced security. Its body is made of 30% Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastics and features a cobblestone gray finish, blending seamlessly with any office or home environment. The Eco Mode ensures energy efficiency and low power consumption, contributing to waste reduction efforts.

As a side announcement, Acer’s 3D vision department, SpatialLabs, will expand developer tools by offering a Unity plugin, simplifying access to the brand’s glass-less three-dimensional technology.
