LIAN LI has expanded its line of T-shaped PSUs via the introduction of the latest EDGE GOLD series offerings.
The highlight of this new series is the removable USB/PWM hub that attaches to the PSU or can be taken off to go into your desired PC chassis thanks to the standard 8-pin PCIe connector. It provides 4x USB 2.0 headers for up to 8x downstream ports with a total of 2.5A output as well as 6x 4-pin PWM connectors giving up to 2A each.
With strong magnets churning out powerful suction force for mounting, the package also comes with a fan PWM Sync cable, an internal USB to USB header cable, and a USB header to USB Type-A cable. LIAN LI also clarified that if you want the hub as a standalone purchase, you can do that.
It’s not the only thing that is detachable because the dust filter is also one of them through a magnetic mechanism. On the other hand, it offers an outward-facing modular strip for easy cable access while the native fan on the PSU is a 120mm fluid dynamic bearing PWM unit with 0 RPM mode support as well as up to 2400RPM for the 1200W model (2000RPM for 1000W and below).
