LIAN LI launches the latest Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2 PSUs

LIAN LI has just released its new Edge Platinum V2 (1350W/1200W/1000W) and Edge Gold V2 (1000W/850W) power supplies, along with the Edge Hub ADV and Edge Hub V2. Let’s take a look at them.

For starters, both the new LIAN LI Edge Gold V2 and Edge Platinum V2 sport an L-shaped design tailored for dual-chamber cases, reorienting the connectors outward to keep cables out of the main chamber and simplify cable management. All Edge V2 models share the same 182 × 86 × 150mm dimensions and mounting geometry.

The 1000W Gold V2 and 1000W/1200W Platinum V2 models include the Edge Hub V2, offering four USB ports and six independently controlled PWM fan channels. Its upgraded architecture improves USB bandwidth distribution, while real-time monitoring through L-Connect 3 detects high USB loads to help prevent screen freezes, signal drops and display glitches on connected LCD fans, AIO displays, Strimer devices, and other internal USB peripherals.

Notably, the 1350W Platinum V2 comes with the Edge Hub ADV, which retains the same USB and six-channel PWM expansion while adding advanced thermal monitoring. NTC sensors monitor temperatures on up to two 12V-2×6 GPU cables and inside the hub, with its 32-bit ARM MCU providing visual alerts through L-Connect 3 or email notifications.

For cable management, the Edge Gold V2 uses flat cables with a braided-texture finish, while the Edge Platinum V2 comes with individually braided cables and pre-installed cable combs on the 20+4-pin motherboard and 12V-2×6 GPU cables. Its dual-color 12V-2×6 connector housing also makes it easier to confirm proper insertion.

Meanwhile, the 1350W Platinum V2 includes shortened 20+4-pin and 12V-2×6 cables for back-connect motherboards and Strimer RGB installations, plus a dedicated 12V-2×6 cable with a GPU-side thermal sensor for the Edge Hub ADV. In addition, the Gold V2 and Platinum V2 feature removable magnetic dust filters, while the Platinum V2 adds a 360-hour cleaning reminder that turns the internal indicator LED red once the fan runtime threshold is reached.
