Joining the ranks of other brands, ROG has prepared 2 new cutting-edge 27-inch OLED gaming monitors for CES 2025 to continue its release streak of premium offerings.

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM 1

First off, the Swift OLED PG27UCDM is powered by a 27-inch 4K resolution OLED panel that offers a blazing 240Hz refresh rate and 166ppi pixel density, delivering sharper visuals and clearer text. The support of Dolby Vision and HDR10 provides even more eye candy to players while the DP 2.1a (UBHR 2.0), HDMI 2.1, and USB-C w/ 90W PD give users flexible choices when it comes to display I/Os. The addition of a USB hub and ROG DisplayWidget Center for OLED Care Pro makes almost everything accessible from the get go.

ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG 1

Meanwhile, the Strix OLED XG27AQDPG caters to competitive players via its 27-inch QHD 500Hz OLED display with 0.03ms GtG response time, native 10-bit color production, and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut for vibrant visuals. It also comes with OLED Care Pro and Dynamic Brightness Boost for enhanced HDR performance. Connectivity option, it maintains the current “mainstream option” of DP 1.4 with DSC plus HDMI 2.1.

As for what is ROG OLED Care Pro, it is essentially the expanded version of the initial OLED Care protective mechanism for preventing or at least massively slowing down the process of OLED burn-in with the now “Pro” version automatically switching to black screen when no user is detected via its Neo Proximity Sensor. Stuff like pixel cleaning, taskbar detection, and screen saver as well as ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 tech all contribute to this suite of care package designed to help users maintain their precious premium gaming monitor for years to come.

Availability

The Swift OLED PG27UCDM will be available starting in February, while the Strix OLED XG27AQDPG is expected to launch in July in Malaysia.
