MSI has officially revealed a variety of new QD-OLED gaming monitors slated for CES 2025 with a couple of them being industry-leading in terms of what they are offering.
First, we have the MPG 272URX QD-OLED leading in charge with its 27-inch 4K 240Hz specifications that also include DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) technology and boasts a remarkable 166 PPI for enhanced clarity and reduced color fringing. Its EL Gen 3 technology, built with a 5-layer tandem OLED panel, improves efficiency by 30%, ensuring stunning visuals and performance in addition to G-SYNC Compatibility.
On the left side, we have the MPG 272QR QD-OLED X50 rocking a 27-inch QHD 500Hz panel to satisfy that middle ground 1440p plus ultra-high refresh rate requirement. Its 0.03ms GtG response time ensures it is up to standards even for pro players while the DP 2.1a (UHBR20) provides the visual experience as the one above. HDR and clarity level are guaranteed thanks to its VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR 21000 certification.
For the “resolution is king” gang, the MPG 322URX QD-OLED gets the job done with its 32-inch 4K 240Hz baseline to go with 0.03ms GtG response time, DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) support and G-SYNC Compatibility.
Just for a small segue from QD-OLED, MSI will also be showcasing the MPG 274URDFW E16M which is a Mini LED backlighted model running 1152-zone of said technology for top-notch contrast and brightness. It is also native dual-resolution supported with 4K160Hz and FHD320Hz available for switching on the fly and through the hardware level. AI Dual Mode will also smartly adjust things like resolution and refresh rate for minimal user interaction.
Lastly, the MSI AI Navigator will be powering more monitors to come with things like an AI Menu providing onboard memory for profile management and refresh rate adjustment as well as other AI-based functions with the aforementioned AI Dual Mode landing in this category as well.
