ZOTAC has recently unveiled its latest series of ZBOX mini AI PCs, all of which feature compact designs and are powered by Intel and AMD processors with integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) specifically designed for AI-related tasks. Let’s take a look at each of them

ZBOX edge MI672/MI652

To begin with, the new ZBOX edge MI672/MI652 sports a low-profile design and is equipped with the all-new Meteor Lake Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and 5 125H CPUs with integrated Intel ARC Graphics that deliver up to twice as strong performance in comparison to its predecessors. Plus, users can utilize Intel ARC Graphics for a variety of Generative AI tasks to streamline workflows with the help of OpenVINO.

Connectivity-wise, the ZBOX edge MI672/MI652 includes a wide range of I/O ports which include 6 x USB 3.2 ports, an HDMI port, a DisplayPort video output, as well as WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Both of them are also compatible with DDR5-5600/5200 SODIMM memory modules and support dual channel memory up to 64GB, as well as up to 2 M.2 NVMe SSDs.

ZBOX nano CI671/CI651

Following that is the ZBOX nano CI671/CI651, which packs an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U and 5 125U CPUs that also include LPE Cores and a dedicated NPU for enhanced efficiency and AI acceleration. Notably, both these mini PCs boast a passive cooling design without any moving parts to provide a silent computing experience and extended durability.

In terms of I/O ports, they offer 5 x USB 3.2 ports along with HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs to enable users to connect up to 3 displays for improved productivity. The chassis design also allows for tool-less disassembly, simplifying upgrades to memory modules and storage.

ZBOX edge MA762

Last on the list today is the ZBOX edge MA762, featuring the AMD 7840HS APU and is compatible with the AMD Ryzen AI Software that includes the necessary tools and runtime libraries for optimizing and deploying AI inference applications on the embedded NPU. Developers can leverage the AMD Vitis AI quantizer to quantize the model into INT8 and save it in ONNX format for faster on-device AI inference.

Similar to the other mentioned mini PCs, the ZBOX edge MA762 also provides users with an array of I/O connections, supporting both wired or wireless options, alongside dual Gigabit Ethernet support for a more versatile and secure network connection setup.
