The GeForce RTX 3060 is finally here and you can expect to see it very soon from the NVIDIA board partners later in February 2021. ZOTAC as one of the renowned NVIDIA board partners too has announced three new models, the GeForce RTX 3060 AMP White Edition, GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge OC, and GeForce RTX 3060  Twin Edge to their RTX 30 series graphics card lineup.

Apart from the nice features that are made available to the RTX 30 series cards – NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and NVIDIA Broadcast, the RTX 3060, and the rest of the existing RTX 30 series cards will be receiving the resizable BAR support later in February. NVIDIA mentioned that the feature will be available on both Intel and AMD platforms, but the list of supported CPUs and motherboards still remains unknown at the moment.

Apart from the difference in clock speed, both Twin Edge OC and Twin Edge will be having the same cooler design. The cooling solution consists of a wide aluminum fin-stack array heat sink paired with three 6mm copper heat pipes radiating from a single GPU cold plate. Dual 90mm and 11-blade fans provide up to 10% more airflow than previous generation designs and paired with FREEZE Fan Stop and Active Fan Control.

Both the Twin Edge OC and Twin Edge will come in a compact length of just 8.8 inches or 224.1mm in a dual-slot configuration, which is ideal for small form factor builds which has been seeming popular in recent months.

The snowy graphics card delivers with a strong factory overclock out of the box with cooling to match. At just 231.9mm / 9.13”, IceStorm 2.0 brings advanced cooling with FREEZE Fan Stop and Active Fan Control features equipped with an offset 90mm / 100mm 11 blade fans, a wide aluminum fin-stack array heatsink, and five 6mm copper heat pipes for maximum heat dissipation. The matching metal wraparound backplate and LED logo lighting unify the overall design for a balanced aesthetic.


As for the availability, ZOTAC gave us a piece of slightly clearer information on the time of availability, which is the second half of February 2021 at a starting price of $329 USD.
