Transcend has been making a lot of great hard disks in the past. We’ve even taken a look at a huge number of Transcend external hard disks in the past, and now they’re bringing in two new external hard disks in for the M3 series. Here comes the brand new StoreJet 25M3G and StoreJet 25M3S. They both the same actually, just that the 25M3G is in Military Green color, whereas the 25M3S is in Iron Grey color.
These two external hard disks come with quite a lot of upgrade compared to the previous generation of M3-series of external hard disks too. It still comes with the iconic Transcend M3-series of external hard disk with the silicon rubber case, thinernal shock-absobing suspension dampener, and the reinforced hard shell case. It has also been tested with the three-stage shock protection system, and both the StoreJet 25M3G and StoreJet 25M3S meet the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 U.S military drop-test standards.
What’s more is that both the StoreJet 25M3G and StoreJet 25M3S both come in a lighter and thinner body too. Weighing in at 45 grams lighter and 2.7mm thinner than the previous generation, it is now even more portable than ever. Comes with the usual USB 3.1 Gen 1 port as usual.
Transcend didn’t forget about the iconic One Touch Backup button too. Coupled with Transcend’s software suite – the Transcend Elite and RecoverRx, your data can be managed and backed up easily. It can even encrypt your sensitive files with 256-bit AES encryption scheme. In case you accidentally deleted some files, the RecoverRx can try to recover the lost files. All these are free as usual.
The StoreJet 25M3S and 25M3G comes available in capacities of 1TB and 2TB respectively and is backed by Transcend’s 3-Year Limited Warranty.
