Ubisoft has officially announced a partnership between Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Terminator, available now on Playstation 4, Xbox One X and Windows.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a tactical shooter game that offers modes such as single-player, online co-op and online PvP and was released in 2019. Despite bearing the Tom Clancy branding, it was not well-received with mixed reviews and below-average scores due to microtransactions, mediocre plot, and characters which is way too general, among others.

But, a healthy dose of mishmash between different franchises might just be what the game needs. Therefore, it is interesting to see how and whether the collaboration can provide what fans are looking for – even if when no one asked for it.

Remember Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle? That’s a game no one asked for, but Ubisoft made it. And that game worked out fantastically. Maybe it’ll work the same for this collaboration between Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Terminator.

Event Summary

Terminator in Breakpoint

Featuring dialogues, settings, and enemies inspired by the original 1984 movie, a new story arc will be available for players to prepare and face the unknown threat from the future, in an all-new location in Auroa.

To have a chance of stopping the Terminators, players need to save Rasa Aldwin through the 2 main narrative missions. Additionally, daily warfare and interception missions are available which face players to T-800 cyborgs which are fun yet challenging.

The 1st narrative mission is available from January 29 while the 2nd starts from February 1. Completing tasks and missions during the event will also earn tons of rewards, including the iconic punk outfit, Terminator weapons, vehicles, and even packs that transforms your Ghost into either Kyle Reese or Terminator.

The live event goes from January 29 to February 6 but new players are not to worry as the collaboration will stay after it ends.
