With global football excitement continuing to capture attention worldwide, Taiwan Excellence transformed that energy into a community-driven wellness event in Malaysia. The “Go Healthy with Taiwan” Football Carnival, held at Sportizza Shah Alam, attracted more than 150 participants from community groups, sports organisations and social associations, all brought together by a shared focus on healthy living, sports and innovation.

Organised under the “Go Healthy with Taiwan” initiative and inspired by the spirit of the FIFA World Cup, the carnival featured nine football-themed challenge stations ranging from shooting and dribbling to juggling and precision-kick activities. Participants of all ages had the opportunity to test their football skills while embracing the message that an active lifestyle plays a key role in overall well-being.

The event also received strong backing from local community and sports organisations, including Lerak FC, Pendowo Limo Muaythai, Women Social Futsal & Football Malaysia, and several non-profit groups focused on social welfare and community development. One of the biggest crowd-pleasers was a friendly futsal match between Taiwan Excellence mascot FuBear and Malaysia’s iconic Harimau mascot, creating a lively atmosphere that kept spectators engaged throughout the day.
Adding to the excitement were appearances by Selangor State Assemblyman Danial Al Rashid, Malaysian football legend Indra Putra, and football content creator Coach Dom. Their interactions with fans and the mascots drew enthusiastic reactions from attendees and helped elevate the carnival’s festive atmosphere.

Beyond the football activities, visitors were invited to explore the Taiwan Innovation Experience Zone, which showcased a range of health and lifestyle technologies from Taiwanese brands. Featured exhibits included Johnson Fitness exercise equipment, Biogend’s RevoCart knee joint regeneration technology, Acerpure smart air purifiers and Footer functional socks. The showcase highlighted Taiwan’s capabilities in health technology, sports innovation, and wellness-focused solutions designed to support healthier lifestyles.
According to the organisers, the carnival was created to encourage greater public participation in health and wellness activities while demonstrating how innovation and technology can contribute to stronger, healthier communities.
The event also offered participants opportunities to win prizes, including return flights between Kuala Lumpur and Taipei, Touch ’n Go e-vouchers, Footer functional socks, and exclusive Taiwan Excellence merchandise.

Meanwhile, the “Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026” Global Proposal Campaign remains open for submissions until August 5. Government agencies, businesses, educational institutions, and non-profit organisations across Malaysia are invited to submit practical health-related proposals capable of creating meaningful community impact.
The top three winning teams will each receive US$30,000 and gain opportunities to collaborate with Taiwanese companies and technologies in support of healthier and more sustainable communities.
